Nuno Lopes

Native Portuguese. Fluent English, Spanish, Italian and French.

Nuno has a rich, deep voice with a natural gravitas. Most recently, he has received widespread international acclaim for his portrayal of ‘Boxer’ in the hit Netflix series WHITE LINES.

Nuno is undoubtedly one of Portugal’s most talented and successful actors working today. Known for his ability to portray a whole range of characters.  In addition to WHITE LINES, he has appeared in the film ALICE, BLOOD OF MY BLOOD, and LINES OF WELLINGTON. In 2016, he won the Best Actor Award at the Venice Film Festival for his phenomenal portrayal of an unemployed boxer in Marco Martins’ SAINT GEORGE. Nuno is also a five-time winner of Portugal’s Golden Globes. His recent work includes: the drama MAR, THE GREAT MYSTICAL CIRCUS, THE WIND TURNS, AN EASY GIRL (a French-language film). Nuno will soon begin production on the feature film AZURO, which will be directed by Matthieu Rozé.
