Neil Oliver

Native Scottish. Neil has a gentle, warm and familiar voice. Best known as lead presenter on the highly acclaimed BBC2 series Coast.

A qualified archaeologist and journalist, Neil’s passion for history comes across in his voice as he draws his audience in to his subject.

Over the years, in addition to Coast, Neil has presented and contributed to countless television documentaries and factual programmes including Channel 4’s Time Team, BBC1’s The One Show and BBC’s A History of Ancient Britain.
