Lynne Pearson
Lynne is a very talented actor with a rich and varied career in television, theatre, film, and voice work. She is also a proficient sight reader! She’s best known for her roles in Coronation Street—as DC Lynn White in 1979 and Carol Baldwin in 2005–2006—and as the voice of Rowena Ravenclaw’s portrait at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Tokyo, and France.
Her many credits include: Together They Smoke (SKY Tv), That’s Love, Waking the Dead, Casualty, Doctors, The Bill, We’ll Meet Again, and The Firm (Dir. Alan Clarke), along with the 2023 short film Egg Timer.
Theatre credits include: Southwold Summer Theatre – 2 seasons, 14 plays! Hanif Kureishi’s Outskirts (The Grove), Tundi Ikoli’s On The Out (The Bush Theatre and tour), Oh What A Lovely War (Bristol Old Vic), Camille (Leeds Playhouse), My Mother Said I Never Should (Derby Playhouse), Shang A Lang (Chichester Festival Theatre Minerva), The Rise and Fall of Little Voice (Watermill).
Lynne has a very friendly, natural, genuine and upbeat tone to her voice. She is versatile and amazing to work with!
