Ginnia Cheng
Ginnia Cheng is a BBC New Comedy Award-shortlisted comedian and the winner of the Louis Theroux & Amazon Prime Looking for Louis competition. She performs regularly at leading UK comedy venues including The Comedy Store, Top Secret Comedy Club and Up the Creek, and has taken her work across Europe and back to her native Hong Kong.
Selected by BBC Writersroom for its showcase of emerging East Asian comedy talent, Ginnia is also the creator and co-host of Sex Standing Up Comedy, a sex-positive live comedy experience recommended by Metro and frequently featured in Time Out’s “Top 3 Things to Do in London.”
Alongside her live work, Ginnia is an accomplished actor and voiceover artist. Her screen credits include short films and digital campaigns, and her voice can be heard in projects such as Big Finish’s Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor Adventures.
